The above photo is wrongly labelled as Coccinella transversalis. It actually shows the typical morph of Menochilus sexmaculatus (syn. Cheilomenes sexmaculata).
* Menochilus sexmaculatus: Black T-shaped marking against a creamy base on the pronotum. No scutellary spot along the elytra mid-line near the pronotum.
* Coccinella transversalis: Black pronotum with orange or yellow anterolateral corners (near the head). Presence of a black oval scutellary spot along the elytra mid-line near the pronotum.
